Dance School Policy
Children should be picked up promptly after class. We ask that for the safety of your child a parent or guardian come into the building to pick up each student. If your child walks or rides a bike to and from class, or is picked up by someone other than a parent or guardian, we request a letter of permission to be kept on file.
In addition, you must come into the building and inform an instructor if you are picking up your child early.
Dress Code
In order to achieve uniformity among the students and instill a sense of discipline within each student, we ask that you come to class each week wearing the proper uniform.
All Tap/Ballet combination students must wear any combination of black and pink leotard, tights and skirt. These students must also wear white tap shoes and white ballet slippers. Ballet students ages 10 and older must wear pink tights, black leotard and pink split-sole ballet slippers and jazz pants or tights. All jazz, lyrical and tap students must wear any colored leotard or fitted t-shirt and jazz pants or tights. Jazz and Tap shoes must be tan or suntan by recital time. Bare feet and bare midriffs will not be allowed at any time. All students must have hair pulled off their face (ballet hair in a neat bun).
