Dear Friend of the Theatre,
It is always an exciting but daunting task to choose the next new season of shows that actors will want to perform in and patrons will want to see. This year, we have chosen all high energy, fun, upbeat musicals and comedies for
your pleasure. Click
here for our
2010-2011
schedule.
With the exception
of our annual Christmas gem,
"Scrooge", all of our shows this year are linked by a common
theme. These stories
are either set in or created in (or both!) the 1930's, and are meant to lift
the spirits of depression-era
citizens. Sadly, this idea is almost as relevant now as it was
just after the crash of 1929. But in the face of tough
times, these shows remind us that though tough times come, they also go. They also remind us that while we hope and work to make
things better for ourselves and each
other, we can pass the time
together with a few
laughs.
From our family to yours, we wish you a year of good health and good fortunes.
We also wish you good times... and this season is our small way to
help you in that direction.
